Science SEMH Teacher – KS3
Location: Hull
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum
Contract: Full Time
Start Date: Immediate or September 2026
GSL Education are recruiting a resilient and dedicated Science SEMH Teacher to support KS3 pupils within a specialist setting in Hull.

This specialist provision supports pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, offering a structured and nurturing learning environment. Staff focus on relationship building, behaviour support and personalised learning approaches.
Responsibilities
- Teach Science to KS3 pupils with SEMH needs
- Plan differentiated and engaging lessons
- Support emotional regulation and classroom engagement
- Implement behaviour support strategies
- Work collaboratively with support staff and pastoral teams
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with SEMH pupils preferred
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Resilient and adaptable teaching approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
