Job Title: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Newcastle
Pay rate: £95-£115 Per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently welcoming applications from passionate Learning Support Assistants to work in schools across Newcastle. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with pupils who need additional support to access the curriculum and succeed in the classroom.
As a Learning Support Assistant (LSA), you will play a key role in helping pupils engage with their learning, build confidence, and develop essential skills.
Prime Responsibilities:
- Support pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 and small group basis.
- Assist with delivering learning activities across different subjects.
- Help pupils understand tasks and stay focused on their work.
- Support pupils with additional needs where required.
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage engagement in learning.
- Work closely with teachers to support pupil progress.
Essential Requirements of LSA:
- Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, supportive, and adaptable approach.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- A genuine interest in supporting education and development.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
