Pay rate: £95-£115 Per day (Depending on experience)

Support teachers in delivering high-quality learning experiences while helping students engage, progress, and achieve their full potential in the classroom!
GSL Education are hiring a committed Teaching Assistant to join schools in Gateshead. The Teaching Assistant (TA) will work closely with teaching staff to support learning across the classroom and provide additional help to pupils who may need extra guidance.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in delivering lessons and classroom activities.
- Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning.
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development.
- Assist with classroom preparation and learning resources.
- Follow safeguarding policies and school procedures at all times.
Requirements of Teaching Assistant:
- Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, supportive, and proactive approach.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
