Pay rate: £95-£115 Per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work in schools across Newcastle, providing classroom support and helping pupils achieve their full potential.
In this role, you will work closely with teachers to support learning activities, assist pupils on a one-to-one and small group basis, and contribute to a safe and inclusive school environment.
About the role
As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will play a key role in supporting classroom learning, helping pupils understand tasks, stay engaged, and develop both academically and socially.
Key responsibilities of Teaching Assistant:
- Support teachers in delivering classroom activities
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils
- Help maintain positive behaviour and classroom routines
- Assist pupils in understanding tasks and completing work
- Support the social and emotional development of learners
- Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff
What we are looking for:
- Experience working with children or young people is desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient, caring, and supportive approach
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice

- Have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
