GSL Education are seeking a professional and organised Admin staff member to work with schools in Northumberland, providing administrative support to ensure efficient school operations.
As an Administrator staff member, you will play a key role in supporting school staff, handling office tasks, and maintaining accurate records in a busy and welcoming environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support to the school office and staff.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and greet visitors professionally.
- Maintain accurate student and staff records.
- Assist with data entry, filing, and document management.
- Support attendance and scheduling processes where required.
- Work collaboratively with staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Requirements of Admin:
- Previous administrative experience, ideally within a school or office setting, is desirable.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Good IT skills and confidence using office systems.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A professional, reliable, and approachable manner.
- A commitment to safeguarding and confidentiality.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
