Job Title: Cleaner
Location: Sunderland
Pay rate: £13 - £17 Per Hour (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently recruiting a reliable Cleaner to work in schools across Sunderland.

As a Cleaner, you will play an important role in ensuring school facilities are kept clean, hygienic, and organised to support a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities of Cleaner:

  • Clean classrooms, corridors, offices, and communal areas.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the site.
  • Safely use cleaning equipment and materials.
  • Empty bins and replenish cleaning supplies where required.
  • Follow health and safety procedures at all times.

Requirements:

  • Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and good time management skills.
  • Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean environment.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
