Pay rate: £13 - £17 Per Hour (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are hiring a dedicated Cleaner to work with schools in Northumberland, helping to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across school premises.
As a Cleaner, you will play an important role in ensuring classrooms, corridors, offices, and communal areas are kept clean, safe, and welcoming for students, staff, and visitors.
Main Responsibilities:
- Clean classrooms, offices, toilets, and communal areas to a high standard.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies where required.
- Follow health and safety procedures when using cleaning products and equipment.
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns to relevant staff.
- Help maintain a safe, hygienic, and organised school environment.
Requirements of Cleaner:
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
- Good attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A reliable, punctual, and hardworking approach.
- A commitment to safeguarding and maintaining a safe environment.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
