Job Title: Cleaner

Pay rate: £13 - £17 Per Hour (Depending on experience)

Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by supporting the day-to-day cleanliness and hygiene standards within a school setting!
GSL Education are seeking reliable and hardworking Cleaners to work in schools across Newcastle. This role is essential in ensuring students and staff have a safe and hygienic environment for learning and working.
Responsibilities of Cleaners:
- Clean classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, and communal areas.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Ensure cleaning materials and equipment are used safely and stored correctly.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the site.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements of Cleaners:
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
- Good attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking approach.
- Ability to manage time effectively and complete tasks efficiently.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean environment.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
