Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking enthusiastic and committed Maths Teachers to work in schools across Sheffield.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated educator to inspire students and support their academic progress. As a Math Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons across key stages, helping students develop strong numeracy, analytical thinking, and mathematical understanding.
Responsibilities of a Maths Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Teach Mathematics across Key Stages using creative and effective teaching methods
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress effectively
- Differentiate lessons to support learners of varying abilities
- Maintain positive classroom behaviour and a productive learning environment
- Encourage confidence and enthusiasm for Mathematics
- Support students’ academic and personal development
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and school leaders
Requirements of a Maths Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A degree in Mathematics or a related subject
- Experience teaching Maths in secondary schools is desirable
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- A passion for Mathematics and student achievement
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
