Job Title: Geography Teacher

Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a passionate Geography Teacher to join schools in Barnsley. The Geography Teacher will deliver inspiring lessons that develop students’ map skills, analytical thinking, and understanding of both physical and human geography.
Responsibilities of Geography Teacher:
- Plan and deliver high-quality geography lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Encourage enquiry-based learning and geographical investigation.
- Support students in developing research, analytical, and fieldwork skills.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching geography in a school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Passion for education and student development.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
