The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll lead pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring students remain engaged, focused, and on task throughout the day.
This is not a teaching role, meaning no lesson planning or marking is required.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising pre-set lessons across a range of secondary subjects
- Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Delivering instructions clearly and confidently
- Supporting students with their classwork where required
- Providing feedback to teaching staff at the end of lessons
