Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Pay rate: £190 per day
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time
Support pupils with special educational needs to achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive learning environment!
GSL Education are currently recruiting a passionate SEN Teacher to work in schools across Sheffield.
As a Special Education Needs (SEN) Teacher, you will deliver tailored lessons and interventions that meet the individual needs of pupils with a range of special educational needs, helping them build confidence, independence, and academic progress.
Prime Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to support pupils with SEN.
- Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Support pupils’ emotional, social, and academic development.
- Work collaboratively with SENCOs, support staff, and parents/carers.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements of SEN Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience working with pupils with special educational needs.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Patient, adaptable, and supportive approach.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
