Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Doncaster
Pay rate: £95 per day
Start Date: Immediate

Support students with additional learning needs by providing tailored guidance and encouragement within a positive and inclusive educational environment!
GSL Education are seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join schools in Doncaster. The Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) will work closely with teachers and SEN staff to support pupils with a range of special educational needs, helping them access learning and achieve their full potential.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN.
- Assist in adapting lesson materials and classroom activities to meet individual needs.
- Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
- Encourage positive behaviour, engagement, and independence.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs, and support teams.
- Follow safeguarding procedures and contribute to a safe learning environment.
Requirements of SEN TA:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable.
- Patient, empathetic, and supportive approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
