SEN Tutor
Location: Bridlington
Salary: £25 – £35 per hour
Contract: Part Time / Flexible
Start Date: Immediate
GSL Education are seeking an experienced SEN Tutor to support pupils with additional learning needs in Bridlington.
About the Tuition Provision
This role focuses on supporting pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD and SEMH needs, through personalised tuition sessions. Tutors will provide structured and engaging learning support tailored to individual EHCP targets and learning styles.
Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored SEN tuition sessions
- Support pupils with engagement and emotional wellbeing
- Adapt resources and learning strategies to pupil needs
- Monitor progress against individual targets
- Build positive and trusting relationships with learners
Requirements
- Experience supporting pupils with SEN
- Patient and adaptable teaching approach
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- QTS preferred but not essential with relevant experience
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
