Secondary Tutor
Location: Cottingham
Salary: £25 – £35 per hour
Contract: Part Time / Flexible
Start Date: Immediate
GSL Education are recruiting a committed Secondary Tutor to support learners in Cottingham.
About the Tuition Provision
This tuition provision supports secondary-aged pupils who require additional academic intervention, exam preparation or personalised learning support. Tutors play an important role in helping pupils improve attainment and confidence.
Responsibilities
- Deliver targeted tuition sessions across KS3 and KS4
- Support pupils with GCSE preparation and subject knowledge
- Adapt sessions to individual learning needs
- Monitor and report on pupil progress
- Build positive relationships with learners
Requirements
- QTS or relevant tutoring experience
- Strong secondary subject knowledge
- Experience supporting secondary-aged learners
- Good communication and engagement skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
