Primary Tutor
Location: Beverley
Salary: £25 – £35 per hour
Contract: Part Time / Flexible
Start Date: Immediate
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Primary Tutor to provide face-to-face tuition support for pupils in Beverley.
About the Tuition Provision
This role involves supporting pupils who require additional academic support outside of mainstream classroom learning. Tuition may take place in schools, libraries or community settings and focuses on helping learners build confidence and make academic progress.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging tuition sessions across primary subjects
- Adapt learning to suit individual pupil needs
- Support pupils with gaps in learning and confidence
- Monitor progress and provide session feedback
- Build positive and supportive relationships with learners
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant tutoring experience
- Experience working with primary-aged pupils
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- Ability to deliver personalised learning support
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
