Job Title: Computer Studies Teacher

Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)

As a Computer Studies Teacher, you will play a key role in equipping students with essential digital literacy, computational thinking, and coding skills that are increasingly vital in today's world. Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver stimulating Computer Studies lessons aligned to the national curriculum
- Teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering topics such as programming, networks, data, and cyber security
- Develop students' computational thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities
- Prepare pupils effectively for GCSE assessments and examinations
- Track and assess student progress, offering clear and constructive feedback
- Adapt lessons to suit a range of learning styles and abilities
- Keep up to date with developments in computing and integrate relevant content into your teaching
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support departmental goals and curriculum planning
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related subject
- Experience teaching Computer Studies or Computing in a secondary school is desirable
- Solid subject knowledge across programming, hardware, software, and digital systems
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of all abilities
- A forward-thinking, adaptable, and professional approach to education
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to complete a new application)
