Location: Middlesbrough
Salary: £150–£220 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date: Immediate

A welcoming and supportive primary school in Middlesbrough is seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to join their team. This Primary Teacher role is ideal for an enthusiastic practitioner who is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.

The successful Primary Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum while creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment. As a Primary Teacher, you will work closely with colleagues to ensure strong pupil progress and maintain high expectations for learning and behaviour.

Key Responsibilities of the Primary Teacher:

  • Planning, teaching and assessing across the primary curriculum.
  • Delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.
  • Monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching where required.
  • Promoting positive behaviour and classroom engagement.
  • Supporting pupils with varying abilities and learning needs.
  • Maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment.

The Ideal Primary Teacher Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have experience teaching within a primary setting.
  • Be passionate about raising standards and pupil achievement.
  • Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Be adaptable, proactive and enthusiastic.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).

This Primary Teacher role requires a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection. All successful applicants must satisfy safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
