Job: Unqualified Art Teacher KS2 – KS4
Location: Basingstoke
Contract Type: Temp to Perm / Permanent
Salary: £25,100 – £32,900
About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and creative Unqualified Art Teacher to support students aged 7–16 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience working with children or young people who is looking to develop a career in education within a supportive specialist setting.
Daily Duties for an Unqualified Art Teacher KS2 – KS4
- Deliver engaging and inclusive Art lessons
- Support students’ academic, personal, and emotional development
- Create a safe and positive classroom environment
- Build strong relationships with students and families
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
- Contribute to school activities and curriculum planning
Requirements for an Unqualified Art Teacher KS2 – KS4
- Previous experience working with children or young people
- Experience in Art or Creative subjects
- A valid DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Motivated, reliable, and adaptable
- Ability to support a range of learning needs
