Job Title: Design and Technology Teacher

Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are searching for a skilled Design and Technology (DT) Teacher to work in schools across Doncaster, delivering high-quality lessons that develop students’ technical knowledge and creative thinking.
In this role, you will plan and deliver structured Design and Technology lessons, guiding students through the design, making, and evaluation process while ensuring a safe and well-managed workshop environment.
About the role:
As a Design and Technology Teacher, you will play a key role in helping students apply practical skills and innovative thinking to real-world challenges, fostering creativity and independence.
Key responsibilities of Design and Technology Teacher:
- Deliver well-planned Design and Technology lessons aligned with the curriculum
- Support pupils in designing, making, and evaluating their work
- Promote safe use of tools, equipment, and materials
- Encourage creativity, problem-solving, and independent learning
- Maintain strong classroom behaviour and an organised learning environment
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
What we are looking for
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Design and Technology in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of workshop safety and materials
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
