Job Title: Computer Studies Teacher
Location: Wakefield
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)

Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a knowledgeable Computer Studies Teacher to work with schools in Wakefield, delivering engaging lessons that build students’ confidence in computing, programming, and digital literacy.
As a Computer Studies (CS) Teacher, you will deliver well-structured lessons that develop students’ understanding of computer systems, coding, and technology, while encouraging logical thinking and problem-solving in a supportive classroom environment.
Main Duties:
- Deliver high-quality Computer Studies lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Teach topics such as programming, algorithms, data representation, and IT systems.
- Encourage problem-solving, logical thinking, and digital skills.
- Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
- Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience working as a Computer Studies or ICT Teacher in a school setting.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
