Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Wakefield
Pay rate: £460 - £650 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are recruiting enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work in schools across Wakefield. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are confident, organised, and keen to gain hands-on experience within education.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring a productive learning environment.
- Deliver pre-planned work and keep students engaged throughout the lesson.
- Uphold school behaviour policies and manage classroom dynamics effectively.
- Provide clear instructions and support to students where needed.
- Record attendance and feedback on student behaviour and lesson progress.
Requirements of Cover Supervisor:
- Previous experience working with young people in schools or similar settings as Cover Supervisor.
- Confident, approachable, and able to manage groups effectively.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to think on your feet and adapt to different classroom situations.
- A professional and reliable attitude.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
