Job Title: PE Teacher
Location: Barnsley
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are currently welcoming applications from committed PE Teachers to work in schools across Barnsley. This is a great opportunity to inspire pupils through physical education and support their confidence, teamwork, and wellbeing.
As a Physical Education (PE) Teacher, you will deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that encourage participation and develop physical skills across a range of activities.
Key Duties:
- Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons across key stages.
- Teach a variety of sports, fitness activities, and physical skills.
- Promote teamwork, discipline, and positive sporting values.
- Assess pupil performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Encourage participation from all pupils, regardless of ability.
- Support extracurricular sports clubs and school events where required.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience working as PE Teacher in a school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge in physical education and sports.
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and motivating approach.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
