Job Title: Math Teacher
Location: Barnsley
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

As a Mathematics Teacher, you will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that develop pupils’ understanding of mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons across key stages.
  • Teach a range of topics including algebra, geometry, number, and statistics.
  • Support pupils in developing logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Assess pupil progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
  • Adapt lessons to meet the needs of different learners.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as Maths Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills.
  • An enthusiastic and supportive teaching approach.
  • Ability to engage and motivate pupils of all abilities.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
