Job Title: Sports Coach
Location: Worksop
Pay rate: £460 - £650 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time 

GSL Education are looking for confident and motivated individuals with a background in sports, coaching, or fitness to support schools across Worksop.

The role is advertised as Sports Coach to attract candidates with strong leadership and engagement skills. The position itself is based within school settings, where you will support students in lessons, help manage behaviour, and encourage them to stay focused throughout the school day.

Sports Coach - About the Role:

You will work as part of the school team, supporting teachers and helping students across a range of subjects. The focus is on maintaining a positive classroom environment, supporting learning, and ensuring pupils remain engaged.

Your experience in coaching or fitness will help you build strong relationships with students and promote a structured and supportive atmosphere.

Prime Responsibilities of Sports Coach:

  • Support classroom learning alongside teaching staff
  • Supervise lessons and ensure students stay on task
  • Assist with behaviour management and reinforce expectations
  • Motivate and engage students using coaching techniques
  • Support individuals and small groups with their learning
  • Contribute to daily school routines and organisation

Requirements of Sports Coach:

  • Background in sports, coaching, fitness, or similar
  • Confidence working with young people in group settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable, adaptable, and professional approach
  • Interest in working within a school environment
