Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Worksop
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time
Are you an enthusiastic Geography Teacher who can bring the world into the classroom and inspire curiosity?
Schools in Worksop and GSL Education are hiring a dedicated Geography Teacher to deliver engaging and well-structured lessons.
As a Geography Teacher, you will support students in exploring physical and human geography, developing map-reading skills, and understanding global issues. You will create a positive classroom environment where learners feel encouraged to participate, question, and think critically.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and structured geography lessons.
- Support students in understanding key geographical concepts.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly.
- Encourage enquiry-based learning and discussion.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom engagement.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Geography in a school setting.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Good communication and organisational abilities.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
