Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Dinnington
Salary: £460 – £600 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately

About the Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. You will help pupils engage with learning activities, adapt to classroom routines and develop independence at their own pace.
Responsibilities:

Support pupils with special educational needs in and out of the classroom

Work 1:1 and with small groups to reinforce learning

Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored lesson activities

Help create a structured and supportive learning environment

Encourage positive behaviour and emotional development

Track pupil progress and share feedback with teaching staff
Requirements:

Experience working with children or young people, ideally within SEN settings

Strong communication and relationship-building skills
-
A patient, calm and adaptable approach

Ability to follow individual learning plans effectively

A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
