Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Doncaster
Salary: £460 – £650 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately
Are you confident leading a classroom and keeping students engaged in the absence of a teacher? A well-regarded secondary school in Doncaster is seeking a reliable Cover Supervisor to join their team.

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-set work across a range of subjects, ensuring lessons run smoothly in the teacher’s absence. You will manage classroom behaviour, keep students on task and provide support where needed to maintain a productive learning atmosphere.
Responsibilities:

Deliver pre-prepared lessons to whole classes across different subjects

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Ensure students remain focused and complete the work set

Provide guidance and support to students during lessons

Report back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour

Uphold a safe, structured and positive classroom environment
Requirements:

Previous experience working with young people is desirable
-
Strong classroom management and communication skills
-
Confidence in leading a classroom independently

A calm, adaptable and proactive approach
-
A genuine interest in education and supporting student development
