Location: York
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum
Contract: Full Time / Part Time
Start Date: Immediate or September 2026
GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a secondary school in York.

Responsibilities
- Teach Science across KS3 and KS4
- Plan and deliver practical and theory-based lessons
- Assess and monitor pupil progress
- Prepare pupils for GCSE examinations
- Promote scientific enquiry and critical thinking
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school
- Strong subject knowledge
- Good classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
