Job Title: Behaviour Mentor
Location: Nottingham (NG3)
Payrate: £95-£120 Per Day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day / Long-term | Part-time / Full-time
Support pupils to make positive choices and overcome barriers to learning as a Behaviour Mentor!
We are searching for a resilient and compassionate Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive school in Nottingham, working closely with students who need additional guidance with behaviour, engagement, and emotional regulation.
This is a rewarding opportunity for a proactive Behaviour Mentor who can build strong, trusting relationships and help pupils develop confidence, self-control, and a positive attitude toward learning.
The Role:
- Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions to support behaviour improvement
- Implement behaviour support strategies and monitor their impact
- Encourage positive routines, attendance, and classroom engagement
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and families
- Record progress and contribute to individual behaviour plans
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience working with young people, particularly in behaviour or pastoral roles
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Calm, consistent, and solution-focused approach
- Ability to manage challenging situations effectively
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
