Job Title: PE Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently welcoming applications from enthusiastic PE Teachers to work in schools across Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire pupils through physical education and support their overall wellbeing, confidence, and teamwork skills.

As a Physical Education (PE) Teacher, you will deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that encourage participation, resilience, and a lifelong enjoyment of sport and fitness.

Key Duties:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons across different key stages.
  • Teach a variety of sports, fitness activities, and physical skills.
  • Promote teamwork, discipline, and positive sporting behaviour.
  • Assess pupil progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
  • Encourage participation from all abilities and promote inclusive practice.
  • Support extracurricular activities, clubs, or school sports events where required.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Physical Education in a school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and understanding of sports and fitness.
  • Confident classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Energetic, motivating, and positive teaching style.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
