Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Salary: £460 – £600 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term / Day-to-day

About the Role:
In this Teaching Assistant position, you will work alongside teachers to support learning across the classroom. You’ll provide additional guidance to pupils who need extra help, ensuring they remain engaged and confident in their work while contributing to a calm and productive classroom setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the teacher with lesson delivery and classroom organisation

  • Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups

  • Promote positive behaviour and engagement in lessons

  • Help prepare and organise classroom resources

  • Support pupils in building confidence and independence

  • Track progress and share feedback with teaching staff

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people is desirable

  • Clear and effective communication skills

  • A proactive, reliable and adaptable attitude

  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

  • A genuine passion for supporting education
