Job Title: Behaviour Support

Salary: £460 – £600 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term / Day-to-day

About the Role:
As a Behaviour Support professional, you will work closely with students who require additional support to manage their behaviour and engagement in school. You will play a key role in promoting positive behaviours, supporting emotional regulation and helping pupils access learning in a meaningful way.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with behavioural needs

  • Implement behaviour management strategies in line with school policies

  • Support students in developing coping strategies and emotional regulation skills

  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to maintain a positive learning environment

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils

  • Monitor and report on student progress and behaviour

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people with behavioural needs is desirable

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • A calm, patient and resilient approach

  • Ability to remain consistent and proactive in challenging situations

  • A genuine commitment to supporting student wellbeing and development
