GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Teacher of Sociology / Psychology / Politics to join a supportive secondary school in Nottingham (NG2). This role is ideal for an inspiring educator who can engage students in the social sciences and encourage critical thinking, discussion, and academic success.

This is a fantastic opportunity to teach motivated learners across Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5 in a welcoming and ambitious school environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Teacher of Sociology / Psychology / Politics:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Sociology, Psychology, and Politics.
  • Inspire students through engaging and thought-provoking teaching.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress effectively.
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
  • Contribute positively to the wider department and school community.

Requirements for the Teacher of Sociology / Psychology / Politics role:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching one or more of the listed subjects at secondary level.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Passion for developing students’ analytical and evaluative skills.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
