Job Title: Year 5 Teacher
Location: Derby (DE1)
Payrate: £150–£230 Per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day / Long-term | Part-time / Full-time
Support pupils in developing confidence, independence, and deeper learning skill!
We are looking for a motivated Year 5 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive school in Derby, delivering structured and engaging lessons that help pupils progress across the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
This is a great opportunity for a committed Year 5 Teacher who can challenge learners appropriately while creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
The Role:
- Deliver high-quality lessons across all core and foundation subjects
- Strengthen pupils’ understanding in preparation for upper Key Stage 2 expectations
- Promote independent learning, resilience, and active participation
- Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching accordingly
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support whole-school goals
What You’ll Bring as Year 5 Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification
- Strong knowledge of Key Stage 2 curriculum requirements
- Confident and effective classroom management skills
- Organised, adaptable, and reflective teaching approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
