Job Title: Teacher of History
Location: Nottingham (NG2)
Payrate: £150–£230 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day / Long-term | Part-time / Full-time

We are hiring an engaging Teacher of History to join a well-regarded school in Nottingham, delivering lessons that develop pupils’ understanding of historical events, perspectives, and their relevance today.
This is a strong opportunity for a reflective Teacher of History who can encourage debate, critical thinking, and well-structured written analysis across key stages.
The Role:
- Plan and deliver stimulating history lessons with clear progression
- Guide pupils in analysing sources and forming evidence-based arguments
- Develop strong writing skills, including evaluation and extended responses
- Use assessment effectively to support progress and attainment
- Contribute to trips, projects, and wider humanities initiatives
What You’ll Bring:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification
- Secure subject knowledge across key historical periods
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to challenge, support, and engage learners
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
