Job Title: Math Teacher
Location: Barnsley
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are currently recruiting a committed Maths Teacher to work in schools across Barnsley.

As a Mathematics Teacher, you will deliver well-structured lessons that support pupils in developing strong numeracy, reasoning, and problem-solving skills, helping them succeed academically.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver effective Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Use varied teaching strategies to support different learning abilities.
  • Track pupil progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Contribute to departmental planning and school initiatives.

Requirements of Maths Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Maths in a school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire learners.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
