Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5)
Salary: Up to £220 per day

A well-regarded group of secondary schools in Sheffield are seeking a committed and confident English Teacher to join their teams and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

About the Role:
As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that develop students’ reading, writing, and analytical skills. You will be working within supportive departments, with access to resources that help you deliver engaging and purposeful learning experiences across a range of abilities.
Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4

Assess, monitor, and track student progress effectively

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Adapt teaching to meet a range of learning needs and abilities

Provide constructive feedback to support student development

Contribute to departmental planning and resources where required

Maintain a positive and structured learning environment
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (essential)

Experience teaching English in a secondary school setting

Strong classroom management skills
-
Ability to deliver engaging and accessible lessons

Confident, adaptable, and professional approach

Commitment to supporting student progress and achievement
