Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Salary: Up to £220 per day
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time, Flexible / Day-to-day / Long-term
Start Date: Immediately

A number of secondary schools in Sheffield are seeking skilled and confident Maths Teachers to deliver engaging and structured lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

About the Role:
As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that develop students’ understanding of key mathematical concepts. You will support learners of varying abilities, ensuring they are challenged, engaged and progressing in line with curriculum expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs

  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies

  • Track and assess student progress

  • Create a positive and focused learning environment

  • Support students in developing confidence in Maths

  • Work collaboratively with departmental staff when required

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desirable)

  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics

  • Experience teaching in secondary school settings

  • Effective classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Confident, organised and professional approach

  • Ability to engage and motivate learners of all abilities
