Job Title: Supply Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Salary: Up to £190 per day
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time, Flexible / Day-to-day / Long-term
Start Date: Immediately

A variety of secondary schools in Sheffield are seeking confident and adaptable Supply Teachers to provide reliable classroom cover across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

Schools across Sheffield are looking for dependable Supply Teachers who can step into different classrooms and maintain a calm, structured and supportive learning environment. These settings place a strong emphasis on consistency, clear expectations and positive behaviour management, ensuring students remain focused and learning continues smoothly during teacher absence.

About the Role:
As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects, ensuring continuity of learning while managing classroom behaviour effectively. This role is well suited to teachers who enjoy flexibility, variety and working across different school environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-set lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

  • Maintain a structured and positive learning environment

  • Support student engagement and on-task learning throughout lessons

  • Adapt quickly to different school routines and expectations

  • Report any concerns to appropriate staff members

  • Ensure continuity of learning during staff absence

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desirable)

  • Experience working within secondary school settings

  • Strong behaviour and classroom management skills

  • Confident, flexible and professional approach

  • Ability to adapt to different subjects and environments

  • Reliable and consistent availability
