Job Title: Supply Teacher

A variety of secondary schools in Sheffield are seeking confident and adaptable Supply Teachers to provide reliable classroom cover across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

These settings place a strong emphasis on consistency, clear expectations and positive behaviour management, ensuring students remain focused and learning continues smoothly during teacher absence.
About the Role:
As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects, ensuring continuity of learning while managing classroom behaviour effectively. This role is well suited to teachers who enjoy flexibility, variety and working across different school environments.
Responsibilities:

Deliver pre-set lessons across KS3 and KS4

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Maintain a structured and positive learning environment

Support student engagement and on-task learning throughout lessons

Adapt quickly to different school routines and expectations

Report any concerns to appropriate staff members

Ensure continuity of learning during staff absence
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desirable)

Experience working within secondary school settings

Strong behaviour and classroom management skills

Confident, flexible and professional approach

Ability to adapt to different subjects and environments

Reliable and consistent availability
