Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Dinnington
Salary: £460 – £600 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately

About the Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who require additional support to access learning. You will assist the class teacher in adapting activities, supporting behaviour, and ensuring each child receives the guidance they need to progress confidently.
Responsibilities:

Support pupils with special educational needs in classroom and small group settings

Assist the class teacher in delivering adapted learning activities

Provide one-to-one support where required to help pupils stay engaged

Help manage behaviour and promote positive learning routines

Encourage independence, confidence, and participation in lessons

Work closely with teaching staff and external professionals when needed
Requirements:

Experience working with children or young people, ideally with SEN
-
A calm, patient, and supportive approach

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Ability to adapt to individual pupil needs

A genuine commitment to supporting children with additional needs
