Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Doncaster
Salary: £460 – £650 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately
Are you confident managing a classroom and keen to gain hands-on experience in a secondary school setting? A well-established school in Doncaster is seeking a reliable and proactive Cover Supervisor to support across a range of subjects.

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will lead pre-prepared lessons in the absence of teaching staff, ensuring students remain focused and engaged. You will be responsible for maintaining classroom discipline and ensuring that learning continues smoothly throughout the day.
Responsibilities:

Deliver pre-set lessons to classes across different subjects

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Ensure students stay on task and complete assigned work

Provide support and guidance during lessons where needed

Report any issues or concerns to relevant staff members

Maintain a positive and orderly learning environment
Requirements:

Previous experience working with young people is desirable

Strong communication and classroom management skills

Confident, adaptable, and able to think on your feet

A professional and proactive approach

Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
