About the Role:
In this Teaching Assistant role, you will work alongside teachers to support learning across the classroom. You will provide targeted assistance to individuals and small groups, helping to break down barriers to learning and keep pupils engaged and motivated throughout the school day.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom organisation

  • Provide focused support to pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups

  • Help create a calm, structured, and engaging learning environment

  • Support pupils in staying on task and developing confidence in their abilities

  • Prepare classroom materials and learning resources as required

  • Track and report on pupil progress to support effective learning strategies

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people is advantageous

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport easily

  • A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

  • A genuine commitment to supporting students’ educational journeys
