Job Title: Behaviour SEN support
Location: Middlesbrough
Pay rate: £95 per day
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Are you a compassionate and resilient Behaviour SEN Support professional who is passionate about helping students with additional needs succeed?

Schools in Middlesbrough and GSL Education are looking for a dedicated Behaviour SEN Support member to provide consistent academic and emotional support.

As Behaviour Special Education Needs (SEN) Support, you will work closely with pupils who may experience behavioural challenges alongside special educational needs. You will help create a calm, structured, and inclusive environment where students feel supported, understood, and encouraged to engage in learning.

Key Duties:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group SEN behaviour support.
  • Assist pupils with emotional regulation and engagement.
  • Implement behaviour and SEN support plans effectively.
  • Support students during lessons and unstructured times.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams.

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience in SEN and behaviour support roles.
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
  • A patient, calm, and resilient approach.
  • Ability to support a range of additional needs.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for a new one.
