Pay: £95 – £110 per day (Depending on experience)

Are you a Psychology Graduate looking to use your knowledge and skills to support young people in an SEMH provision?
GSL Education are seeking a motivated and compassionate Psychology Graduate to work in a specialist SEMH Provision in Middlesbrough. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Psychology Graduate who wants to gain valuable hands-on experience supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
As a Psychology Graduate, you will work closely with pupils who may need additional support with behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement in learning. The successful candidate will build positive relationships, provide consistent support, and help students feel safe, understood, and ready to achieve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work as a Psychology Graduate supporting students with SEMH needs
- Provide 1:1 and small group interventions
- Support emotional wellbeing and behaviour management
- Help students engage positively in lessons and routines
- Work closely with teachers, pastoral teams, and support staff
- Act as a positive role model within the provision
Requirements:
- A degree in Psychology or a related subject
- Passion for supporting children and young people
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Calm, patient, and resilient approach
- Experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
- An up-to-date CV covering the last ten years (with any gaps explained)
- An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply
