Job Title: Inclusion Base Manager
Location: Durham
Salary: £110 – £150 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-Time/ Part-time, Long-Term/ Day-to-day

GSL Education are seeking a proactive and dedicated Inclusion Base Manager to work in one of our partnership secondary schools in Durham. This exciting opportunity involves helping to establish and manage the school’s Inclusion Base, providing tailored support for students with SEN needs.

As an Inclusion Base Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring students receive the guidance, structure, and support they need to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. The successful Inclusion Base Manager will work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to create a positive and nurturing provision.

Key Responsibilities of the Inclusion Base Manager:

  • Support the setup and day-to-day running of the Inclusion Base.
  • Provide targeted support for students with SEN and additional needs.
  • Develop strategies to improve engagement, behaviour, and learning outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
  • Work collaboratively with SENCOs, teachers, and external agencies.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records.

Requirements for the Inclusion Base Manager role:

  • Previous experience supporting students with SEN or behavioural needs.
  • Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships and inspire students.
  • Experience in a school, youth work, pastoral, or support setting is desirable.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
