Job Title: Secondary Teachers

Pay rate: £140–£240 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are looking for enthusiastic Secondary Teachers (All Subjects) to work in supportive schools across Birmingham. As a Secondary Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons within your subject specialism, support students of all abilities, and maintain a positive learning environment. The successful candidate will be confident, organised, and able to adapt quickly to different school settings.
Core Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in your subject area
- Support students’ learning both individually and in groups
- Adapt teaching methods to suit different abilities and learning needs
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Work collaboratively with school staff to support learning outcomes
- Contribute to the wider school environment where required
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching within secondary education
- Strong subject knowledge in your specialist area
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to different school environments
- An up-to-date CV covering the last ten years (with any gaps explained)
- An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or willingness to apply
