Job Title: Year 3 Teacher
Location: Nottingham (NG1)
Salary: £150 – £230 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

Are you a passionate Year 3 Teacher ready to guide pupils into Key Stage 2? Do you have the skills to support students through this important transition in their learning journey?

GSL Education are seeking enthusiastic and committed Year 3 Teachers to work in schools across Nottingham (NG1).

As a Year 3 Teacher, you will play a key role in developing students’ independence, confidence, and deeper understanding across the curriculum. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated educator to support pupils as they move from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2.

Responsibilities of a Year 3 Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Support pupils transitioning from KS1 to KS2 with structured learning
  • Develop students’ literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking skills
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners
  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress effectively
  • Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and staff
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers

To be a Year 3 Teacher, you should have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching in primary schools, particularly KS2, is desirable
  • Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
  • A supportive, engaging, and adaptable teaching approach
  • A genuine passion for primary education
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
