Job Title: EYFS Teacher
Location: Nottingham (NG1)
Salary: £150 – £230 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time
Are you a creative and nurturing EYFS Teacher passionate about early childhood development?
GSL Education are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teachers to work in schools across Nottingham (NG1).
As an EYFS Teacher, you will deliver play-based and structured learning, helping children develop key skills in communication, social interaction, and early literacy and numeracy.
Responsibilities of an EYFS Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the EYFS framework
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
- Support children’s early development in literacy, numeracy, and communication
- Use creative and play-based learning strategies to engage pupils
- Monitor and assess children’s progress, maintaining accurate records
- Support children’s social, emotional, and behavioural development
- Work closely with teaching assistants and staff to support learning
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers
Requirements of an EYFS Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working within an EYFS setting is desirable
- Strong understanding of early years curriculum and development
- A patient, creative, and nurturing approach
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- A genuine passion for early years education
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
